What it does
A conservative driving aid.
SpeedGuard uses device location while monitoring is active to estimate vehicle speed, look up available road speed-limit data, and provide alerts based on the user's settings.
SpeedGuard is not a substitute for posted signs, road conditions, vehicle instruments, driver judgment, or traffic laws. It is informational only.

Speed-limit lookup
The app sends location-derived road queries to SpeedGuard services for speed-limit lookup. Premium users may receive additional map-provider fallback checks.
